GENERAL CLASSIFICATION:

The Nudibranch or Spanish Dancer is a bright coloured type of sea slug. As you can see above it's called Spanish Dancer because when it swims it moves like a spanish dancers skirt. Nudibranchs are hermaphrodites (both male and female).

WHERE IT'S FOUND:

Nudibranchs are found in coral reefs around the world. They are mostly found in the Great Barrier Reef.

DEFENCE MECHANISMS:

The spanish dancer has few defence mechanisms but they are very effective. One of them is when an animal tries to eat a nudibranch they discover the taste is completly and utterly disgusting. The other is stolen weapons. Nudibranchs take stinging tentacles off anenomes and lots of defence mechanisms from other stinging organisms.
